Alumni Gift of $10 Million to Provide Financial Aid
Trinity College has received a $10 million gift from former Trinity trustee and former Connecticut State Treasurer Francisco L. Borges ’74, H’20, his wife Luisa, and his four siblings to support financial aid for outstanding students who would not otherwise be able attend college.
Alumnus and former Trinity College Trustee Eric Fossum ’79, H’14 will receive Trinity College’s inaugural President’s Medal for Science and Innovation during the Spring Bicentennial Symposium: Reflection and Action on February 28, 2024.
After growing up in Hartford and earning a bachelor’s degree at Trinity College, Haben Abraham ’10, LCSW, has returned to campus as the director of the Trinity Counseling and Wellness Center. “In coming back to Trinity and serving in this capacity, I’d like to help students build their own wellness practice,” Abraham said.
